this is my stop (digital video, 2022)

This music video documents the transformation of an abandoned bus stop into a space of remembrance and growth, inspired by its location near Ho-Chunk effigy mounds and a cemetery. Once a shelter for the homeless and a place I used regularly, the bus stop was moved and repurposed for storage. To honor this layered history, I created a song with pitch-shifted vocals and animated typography using oxidized pennies. I added paintings and found-object assemblages to the stop, bringing art and memory to a place with a complex past.
